About Hallowscythe
Hallowscythe is an ancient knife that was obtainable by reaching the 30th and final tier of the Main Event during the Halloween Event 2020, then paying 80,000 Candies for it through the Mysterious Traveller's challenge. The event ran from October 26 to November 22, 2020, and was the first in MM2 history to run in two separate parts, adding a second "Scary Mode" game mode partway through. Trading is now the only way to get Hallowscythe, since the event and its Main Event ladder are gone.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Hallowscythe blends a halberd and a scythe, with a thin, long handle and a beak-edged blunt top. Black covers the handle, the top half of the blade, the axe edge, and the middle of the knife, gray marks the joints, and orange fills the rest of the scythe, the axe, the pommel, and the top of the knife.
Its Set partner, Hallowgun, completes the Hallow Set. It's a revolver with three spikes wrapped around the barrel, running gray, yellow, orange, and silver with an ombre yellow-to-orange barrel and a silver cylinder, tying back to Hallowscythe's own orange-and-black scheme.
Hallowscythe Background
Hallowgun dropped from the 2020 Halloween Box at the same 0.2% rate every base godly gets from a crate, making it the third godly gun in a row to come out of a holiday box, after Elderwood Revolver in the 2019 Halloween Event and Minty in the 2019 Christmas Event.
Hallowscythe itself belongs to a small group of scythe-shaped weapons in MM2. Counting Hallowscythe, there are currently eight:
