About Fire Fox
Fire Fox is a godly pet hatched from the Common Egg, which costs 1,000 Coins or 100 Diamonds. The egg holds 21 pets, and Fire Fox has a 0.2% chance of hatching. The Common Egg is still the main way to get pets outside of events, so Fire Fox can still be hatched. It can also be traded. Its chroma version is the Chroma Fire Fox.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Fire Fox uses the same blocky fox model as the uncommon Fox. It is bright red with a white-pink muzzle and chest, dark red paws, and flames on its head and ears. Fire Fox belongs to the Fire Pet Set, together with Fire Bunny, Fire Dog, Fire Bat, Fire Bear, Fire Cat, and Fire Pig. For a loadout, pair it with the Heat Knife, which has a similar red-orange flame look, and the Vampire’s Gun, which has a similar red and orange-gold color scheme.
Fire Fox Background
The Common Egg came out with Season 1 and replaced the Pet Box. It was the first pet egg to include fire reskins and chroma fire reskins. Its 7 base pets each have a fire version and a chroma fire version, so Fire Fox is the fire version of Fox, which hatches at 25%.
Fire Fox shares its name with one other item: Chroma Fire Fox. It has the same design, but its colors cycle through the rainbow. It hatches from the same egg at 0.004%, compared with 0.2% for Fire Fox.
The odds for every pet in the Common Egg are:
Fox: uncommon, 25%
Each chroma fire pet, including Chroma Fire Fox: godly, 0.004%
That makes Fire Fox far rarer than a normal Fox, but 50 times more likely to hatch than its chroma version.
