About Fang
Fang is a godly knife that can be unboxed from Knife Box 2 with a 0.2% chance, while its chroma counterpart, Chroma Fang, comes from the same box at 0.004%. The box can still be bought in the shop for 1,000 Coins, 100 Diamonds, or 1 Mystery Key, and Fang can also be picked up through trading. It belongs to the Small (107) Set.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Fang takes the shape of a narrow, arrow like blade in red and orange, with a gold tip at the very point. A black, spider like shape sits at the base of the blade, with curved black legs or fangs splaying outward around it. The handle is a plain red shaft. Darkbringer is a good gun to pair with it, since its black body and red wing shapes echo the red and black of the knife's spider and blade. Any pet from the Fire Pet Set can also be a good addition to an avatar built around this knife, since the red and orange match the blade.
Fang Background
Fang's model comes from the limited Roblox gear Fang of Anansi, with the flame effect taken out. Chroma Fang uses the same model, with the orange swapped for a texture that alternates colors. Both knives also throw the same way as Deathshard, Chroma Deathshard, and Winter's Edge, even though Deathshard comes from Knife Box 1 and Fang from Knife Box 2.
Chroma Fang came out with the Season 1 update on May 25, 2019, the same update whose inventory and trading changes opened up the Duping Glitch (2019), which went after chroma weapons above all. Chroma Fang lost a lot of value to duping. Current trade trackers put Fang around 10 with Low.
