About Darksword
Darksword is a godly knife obtained through the Darksword Game Pass or the Darkness Bundle during the Halloween Event 2023, the same event that introduced its paired gun Darkshot, along with other godlies like Traveler's Gun, its chroma counterpart Chroma Traveler's Gun, and the ancient knife Traveler's Axe. Now that the event has ended, the only way to get Darksword is through trading.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Darksword takes the shape of a broad, double-edged blade carved entirely from black material, with a swirling, vine-like pattern etched into the flat of the blade near the base, matching the huntress dagger design it's built around. The cross guard is ornate and flared, curling outward in a filigree-like design that mirrors the same swirling pattern, giving it a classy, royal look. The grip is short and wrapped in an angular, twisting texture, ending in a pointed pommel that continues the carved motif down to the very bottom. Darksword pairs with the godly gun Darkshot, creating the Dark Set.
Darksword Background
Darksword came out during the Halloween Event 2023, the 9th annual Halloween event in MM2. It was the first Halloween event where Candies spawned alongside Coins as the event currency, a change that drew heavy backlash and coincided with some of the lowest player counts the game had seen, and it was never brought back in later events. It was also the first Halloween event to have every map in the game decorated for the occasion.
Since the event ended, Darksword is only obtainable through trading, the same as its gun counterpart Darkshot. Current trade trackers put it around 1,750 with High demand.
