About Chroma Raygun
Chroma Raygun is the chroma version of the godly gun Raygun, obtained the same way during the 2025 Halloween Event. Now that the event has ended, the only way to get it is through trading. Like every other chroma weapon, it can't be broken down at the crafting station.
Appearance and Best Pairings
This item takes the shape of a ray gun with a black plastic body. A clear tube runs along the top of the barrel, filled with a rainbow gradient going from green at the base up through blue and purple. At the very front, a translucent bulb caps the barrel in a pink-to-purple gradient, and a small round lens sits near the trigger with a faint red glow inside it.
The grip and body are otherwise plain matte black, with molded ridges along the top fin and handle for texture. Chroma Raygun shifts through colors while equipped or holstered, and displays a solid multicolor when the /chromatoggle command is used. Chroma Raygun pairs with the Chroma Knife Chroma Alienbeam to form the Chroma Alien Set.
Chroma Raygun Background
Despite forming a matched set, Chroma Raygun and Chroma Alienbeam actually came from two different sources during the 2025 Halloween Event. Chroma Raygun was earned through the battle pass's 25th tier, while Chroma Alienbeam was pulled separately from the 2025 Halloween Box. Chroma Raygun is also the first chroma gun in the game to have a unique trail and shooting sound effect, a trait it shares with only a handful of other guns: Harvester, Icepiercer, Gingerscope, Raygun, Snowcannon, and Chroma Snowcannon. Current trade trackers put it around 14,250 with High demand.
