About Chroma Gemstone
Chroma Gemstone pulls from Mystery Box 1 at a 0.004% chance, sitting alongside the box's godly Gemstone at 0.2%. Gemstone itself holds a rare distinction: it was the very first Season 1 godly ever released, arriving the same day the update itself launched. The box's other pulls still run the full spread too, with Rune sitting one rarity below as the Legendary, and Space and Rainbow gun (2014) covering the Rare tier.
Unboxing and trading both still work today since Mystery Box 1 was never taken off the shop shelf. Chroma Gemstone is the chroma counterpart of the base Gemstone and doesn't have an official gun Set partner of its own.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Chroma Gemstone takes the shape of a broad, faceted blade cut like a raw crystal, carrying a full rainbow gradient from red at the tip through orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple near the hilt. A curved gold crossguard flares out on either side, set with a small pink gem at the center, and the handle is gold with a black-and-white segmented wrap. A red gem sits near the base of the handle, and two curled gold horns extend downward from the pommel.
With no official Set partner tied to either Gemstone or Chroma Gemstone, most players pair it with a separately chosen gun rather than a matched loadout.
Chroma Gemstone Background
Gemstone and Chroma Gemstone are the only two Season 1 godlies not designed by IDontHaveAUse, the creator behind nearly every other weapon that update introduced. Both trace their model back to Crystal Blade: Amethyst Attack, a limited Roblox gear item, and like many other chroma weapons, Chroma Gemstone lost a lot of its value after being hit by duping. It also carried a since-patched bug where equipping the Knifeception effect on it would show small images of Hallow's Edge instead. Current trade trackers put it around 33 with Low demand.
