About Blaster
Nikilis introduced the Futuristic Item Pack on March 22, 2016, and Blaster was one of three godly items bundled inside it for 899 Robux. Buying the pack also delivered the knife Virtual and the pet Electro, making it the first item pack in Murder Mystery 2 history to include a gun at all.
The Game pass went off sale not long after and has stayed that way since, so trading is now the only route to Blaster. It forms the Full Virtual Set together with Virtual and Electro.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Blaster takes the shape of a bulky, futuristic gun with a black and dark gray body, with two short barrels side by side at the front and a longer vent fin running along the top. A blue glowing stripe wraps around the midsection of the body, with TX08 printed in white near the grip. The handle is plain black with a ridged texture. It pairs with the godly knife Virtual to complete the Full Virtual Set.
Blaster Background
Blaster's own pack was one of four original item packs sold in Murder Mystery 2's early years. The first was the Clockwork Set on February 9, 2016, pairing the knife Clockwork with the pet Steambird, followed by the 8-Bit Set on February 22, 2016, pairing the knife Pixel with the pet Phoenix. Neither of those two packs included a gun, which is part of why the Full Virtual Set stood out when it arrived a month later. The Old Glory Set rounded out the four on July 2, 2016, bundling the knife Old Glory with the gun Amerilaser and the pet Sammy.
Ranked by copies sold, the four sets break down as:
Full Virtual Set: 4,726
Full Old Glory Set: 2,190
Clockwork Set: 1,255
8-Bit Set: 1,131
Blaster's own model traces back to the Roblox gear Orinthian Blaster 3777, sold on the avatar shop for 825 Robux, the same gear line that Electro's model, Orinthian Falcon, also comes from. Blaster is also one of only three guns in the game built without a trigger guard, a trait it shares with Evergun and its chroma counterpart, Chroma Evergun.
Blaster also belongs to the Small 107 Set, a tracked group of low value godly guns spanning MM2's history that includes Plasmabeam among others, and salvaging it at the crafting station breaks it down into 70 godly shards, which is part of why current trade trackers put it around 17 with Low demand.
